The Director of International Operations Procurement will be responsible for the companies spend outsides of North America by leading the effort to identify savings opportunities and serving the international customers. The ideal candidate is responsible to build bottom up, line item detail sourcing plan / pipeline of international related sourcing projects. You will conduct spend analysis for the businesses international operations spend and identify and prioritise savings with the international spend base. Other responsibilities will include align procurement related services with the business goals of international customers and build a high calibre international procurement team. This role will have full responsibility of all indirect procurement for outsourced services, telecoms, IT, vendor management, change of suppliers and projects.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified and have executive level communication skills. You will be comfortable in managing a team in a high pressure, high stakes environment. The ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation is a key attribute as well as being a sound self starter,assertive and a strong team player. The skill and previous background in procurement must be of the highest calibre with a sound knowledge of the financial services sector. You will be familiar on how to articulate business user requirements and translate needs into a quantifiable competitive sourcing vehicle. A broad knowledge of best practice procurement is essential plus an understanding of the concept of sustainable savings. You will have strong man management skills even though initially your department will be very small but the ability to develop and build your team will become apparent as the role progresses. Your communication plus presentation skills will be excellent as you will be required to report to the businesses top executives on progress and projects.
