My clientis seeking an experienced public relations executive to help develop and implement comprehensive communications programs to raise awareness about its business, products and services. This individual must have a proven track record of working closely with the media to increase press coverage.
Key responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains relationships with the business and trade media and coordinates media interviews and events.

- Writes and disseminates press releases, media pitches and articles about company news and events, as well as industry trends.

- Works with teams across the company, including product management, sales and marketing, to proactively develop ideas for news stories.

- Collaborates on the writing, editing and publishing of organisational publications and company Intranet.

- Establishes clear performance metrics and executes plans to measure progress against these goals.

- Maintains documentation about public relations activities that meet company requirements.

- To work as part of the global and European marketing team and to contribute to communication projects as required.

Who we're looking for
This is a key hire for the organisation as such the successful candidate will have to demonstrate the following skills:
- Applicable communications' experience, including developing and implementing comprehensive programs.

- Experience in working directly with reporters, including pitching stories, conducting interviews, and meeting tight deadlines.

- Must be creative, detail-oriented, organised and be able to solve problems.

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects from concept to completion.
