Are you a professional marketer with outstanding project management skills? Can you creatively use a range of media to deliver outstanding communications? And could you inspire a largely faith-based audience to act to overcome poverty and injustice?
This is an important post within the Direct Marketing and Legacies Section, which provides an opportunity for candidates who are looking for "hands on" experience with a small team in a challenging, stimulating and creative environment.
As a Direct Marketing Executive at CAFOD you will be responsible for delivering and evaluating a range of campaigns, and will help to develop CAFOD's fundraising plans and strategy. You will need to be self-motivated and driven to achieve targets whilst having a flexible approach.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate for this Direct Marketing Executive at CAFOD will have the following skills:
- proven working knowledge of marketing or fundraising, in either the voluntary or commercial sector
- good understanding of relationship based fundraising
- good understanding of the processes involved in producing direct marketing/fundraising communications across a range of media
- creative flair and judgment
- knowledge of working with external agencies, suppliers and consultants
- understanding of CAFOD's Vision, Mission and Values and has a willingness to learn about CAFOD's overseas and humanitarian relief work
