Inventory Accountants

Job Role
Reporting to the Manager Inventory Accounting, lead all aspects of inventory accounting across Europe:
- Ensure that all standard costs of inventory are correctly set up for all products sold in Europe
- Manage month- and year-end inventory processes, e.g. stock counting
- Analyze inventory variances and monitor inventory levels vs. plan in coordination with CS&L and Treasury
- Ensure appropriate controls for inventory and materials used accounting
- Continuously review material price and usage accounts to identify potential errors/variances and coordinate with product cost group to identify reasons/corrective actions
- Checking materials valuation for raw materials, semi-finished-goods, finished goods, packaging materials and supplies

Who we're looking for
- University degree or equivalent
- Proven knowledge of cost/inventory accounting, including compliance with accounting principles, and intercompany pricing processes
- Well-organized, with good analytical and reporting skills
- Solid understanding of costing and inventory modules, and working with integrated systems
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, team player
- Proven track record of self-management and time management, proven drive for results
- Working in accounting and controlling of a large multinational company
- Previous experience working with SAP preferred
- Fluent in English (other EU language preferable)
