Regulatory Solicitor

Private Practice

Liverpool

Permanent ⁄ £45000 - £70000

Updated October 26, 2008

Due to planned expansion, our client wishes to recruit an Associate Regulatory Solicitor into the Liverpool office. Although this is a stand alone, new role, you will work alongside the firms established 13-strong Commercial Litigation team, and have the full backing and support of the national Regulatory team. It is anticipated that, in time, the successful candidate will build a team around them.

Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for a well rounded, generalist candidate with a proven track record of some, if not all of the following areas: corporate crime and investigations, financial services, healthcare, safety, health and environment, public law and trading standards. Much of the national group's work has an international element and the team works closely with colleagues in other jurisdictions. As ever, excellent business development and client handling skills are essential.

Assistant Solicitors looking for the next step up in their career will be considered for this role.

About our client
Our client has one of the largest specialist regulatory and government affairs groups of any legal services organisation with over three hundred professionals, nearly a hundred of which are based in the UK. Their expertise is drawn from industry, regulators, the Treasury, the police and local authorities. The top ranked Chambers and Legal 500 Regulatory group provides a complete solution to all regulatory needs, including risk assessment and compliance advice, investigation, defence, crisis management and government relations.
