Financial Controller

As a result of significant and continuing growth Balfour Beatty Capital is strengthening its presence in the North East. A key element of this expansion will be the addition of a Financial Controller and their team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role will report to the Finance Director, and liaise closely with the operational management of the investments managed from the office. This is a broad ranging and challenging role with responsibility for reporting, budgeting and forecasting, involvement in commercial issues and management of the external relationships and a local team.

Who we're looking for
Potential candidates will be technically strong, qualified accountants, with a keen intellect. You should possess strong interpersonal and management skills, with the ability to influence at senior level both internally and externally. Sector experience in PFI, financial services or property would be desirable, but will not be a substitute for ability and drive.
