The role is a key trading position required to ensurecontinued growth through a great customer offer and profitability from vendor management.
For the right candidate this is a rewarding and motivating job that will involve a degree of UK and overseas travel. As a Buyer inyou have total accountability for business plan numbers and delivering a great customer offer. Produce remains one of the key elements in supporting the growthand ahigh emphasis is placed on improvingquality perception.

Who we're looking for
•It is vital that the successful candidate has a keen eye for detail and capable of working in a dynamic and flexible way and have a demonstrable track record of driving growth in the Flower category of a major retailer.
•Demonstrable numeric and literacy skills.
•Team working is vital as you will be required to work with many other departments.
•You must have worked in a trading environment and demonstrate good negotiation skills.
•You should want to make a difference to our produce offer and show real flair.
•You will need to be part of team and work to key deadlines.
•Willingness to travel and get out to our growers and packers is important.
