Transport Shift Manager

Reporting to the regional Transport Manager this role will be responsible for 200+ Vehicles, servicing a market leading FMCG brand. The site is a multi-temp facility and you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, ensuring all KPI's are achieved efficiently in a cost effective manner. You will ensure best practise is achieved in all facets of the transport function and have managed a fleet of a similar size.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will come from a fast moving 3PL background ideally within a FMCG environment or alike where time and efficiency are key. You will be able to demonstrate strong continuous improvement skills, have initiated problem solving initiatives and identification of areas for change and close KPI monitoring. You must have a CPC and have worked in a unionised environment with exposure to disciplinary proceedings. Strong man management with an emphasis towards development and retention of staff is a key.
