Contract Manager

• KPI's up dated daily and monthly as required.
• Management of Operations Manage and Supervisors/ Planners as required
• Setting and monitoring of objectives
• Personal Development of the Contract team
• Ongoing operational issue resolution and escalation
• Trend identification and tracking
• Pro-active development to improve contract profitability
• Pro-active development to improve service delivery to customer.
• Weekly and monthly performance review meetings with customer.
• Regular contract and personal review meetings with the General Manager
• Budget responsibility
• Invoice responsibility
• Ensure all legal obligations are complied with
• Ensure correct training processes are provided including inductions
• Train, develop and manage your team, identify training needs.
• Effectively manage sickness and other absence within the guidelines of Company procedure, carrying out Return to Work Interviews, or taking formal action where necessary without having to be prompted.
• Conduct disciplinary procedures for staff
• Respond to customer and supplier queries as and when they arise.
• Ensure the site Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures are followed.
• Ensure that drivers are correctly scheduled, including holidays, on a weekly basis.
• Ensure that working practices conform to Health and Safety Standards.

• Strong Man management skills
• Good customer liaison skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience of budget responsibility and cost control
• Good knowledge of transport operations
• Good communication skills
• Enthusiasm, ability to work on own initiative.
• Computer Literate.
• Flexibility with regard to working times
