This is an exciting and unique opportunity to contribute greatly to the development of direct marketing and online strategies and ultimately the growth of the business. You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and use of client database, analysing data, building mailing lists and implementing direct marketing campaigns. You will also be responsible for the implementation ofonline marketing strategies, including search engine optimisation, email campaigns and updating website content.

You will report to the Marketing Manager and will work closely with our part-time data entry clerks. You will not have line-management responsibility for the data entry clerks but will monitor their work in line with database building targets.

Who we're looking for
Essential:

?¡ marketing experience, particularly in direct mail/email campaigns
?¡ Previous experience in CRM database management (data cleaning, building etc)
?¡ G.C.S.E Maths and English grade A-C
?¡ Microsoft Word and Excel experience<BR>?¡ Excellent telephone manner
?¡ Good written communication skills, with an eye for detail
?¡ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
?¡ Ability to build a rapport and relationships with team members, clients and suppliers

Desirable

?¡ CIM marketing qualification (Certificate in Marketing or higher)
?¡ Experience in using Sales Logix database
?¡ Experience in using content management systems to update website
?¡ Analytical mind with experience at reporting on statistics
?¡ Touch type
