Interim Logistics Co-ordinator

Temp ⁄ 3 month Interim to perm - up to £28k pro rata depending on Experience

To plan the running of machines available within the group to ensure that we meet the customer order book by the most cost effective method.
To liaise with the Transport Department to ensure that customers are supplied from the correct manufacturing or storage site
The planning and purchasing of closures, raw material, packaging and containers.
To issue a daily moulding plan to all sites in order to ensure the correct product is manufactured on the correct machines and is available in good time to meet the order book
To liaise with site Engineering Managers to agree service and maintenance windows
To forecast ahead for stock builds
To be an active member of the supply chain team to enhance the performance of the team, including attendance at meetings.
To participate in the continual process improvement of the transport department.
Maintain, in the strictest confidence, information concerning commercially sensitive or confidential matters
Support the Capacity Planning Manager in all aspects of his job as required
To provide additional cover for the Internal Sales Team as required
To provide cover for the Capacity Planning Manager as required

Who we're looking for
Intermediate knowledge of JDE system
Experience of working in a Manufacturing environment
Production planning experience
Goodknowledge of Excelespecially Excel spreadsheets
Good communication skills
Experience of working to tight deadlines
Flexible, adaptable and a team player
Good Numerical skills
Team player
