New Product Development Manager is required to manage the technical aspects of New Product Development (NPD) work to ensure customer requirements are met.
The main responsibilities within the role are;
1. To schedule all NPD work to achieve customer requirements utilising available resource and machinery to its maximum capacity
2. To ensure all products meet with customers briefs weight and price points as well as quality aspiration
3. To lead design and development projects based on premium customer briefs including mechanical engineering projects
4. Liaising with customers as and when required to achieve their specification requirements.
5. To create costings and process routes to manufacture all new products in-house including specification of jigs and fixtures.
6. To manage the performance of the team and be responsible for their training and development.
7. To ensure health and safety regulations are complied with
8. To provide regular progress reports to company directors
9. To drive through changes in line with the Company's strategic direction
10. To carry out any other reasonable duties as and when required in accordance with Management instructions.

Who we're looking for
• Has previously supplied into the retail sector
• Has knowledge of CAD within the manufacturing environment
• Previous experience of managing a team is ideal
• Excellent communication skills
