Purpose of Commercial Finance Analyst based in Crawley:

To assist the European Customer Facing Division (CFD) Financial Controller in all aspects of commercial financial support to the European sales organisations. This encompasses the development of support to the reporting areaand general support on financial transactional matters.
To maintaining Financial integrity of Balance Sheet and P&L lines within the CFD's area of responsibility for all European businesses and ensure compliance with all aspects of control including those governed by Sarbanes Oxley.

Principle accountabilities
Maintaining accounting integrity and control - Balance Sheet Reconciliations ; Sarbanes Oxley controls maintenance; sales reporting
Provide ongoing support to the European sales organisation through:- monthly sales reporting ; finance reports to business management
Sales analysis through SAP BW; Hyperion Essbase Financial reporting and Analysis systems
Lead the European sales budgeting collection process and assist where required on all other aspects of the budget.
Provide support to Financial Controller where requested on commercial bids or projects; price and exchange recommendations; risk reviews etc
Maintain integrity of Sales transactional processing within SAP
Provide absence cover for the Financial Controller ensuring the completion of all operating activities on a timely basis
Analyse and report product and customer margins globally for the Business and lead European sales analysis
Provide absence cover to the Commercial Accountant on all aspects of the role including Cost Centre reporting, Outlook forecasting and other monthly tasks such as Credit Note approvals
Provide Financial monitoring and control of Loan and Evaluations to customers and Consignment Stocks held at customer sites

Who we're looking for
Required of the Commercial Finance Analyst based in Crawley:
You should be Part Qualified or Finalist level
You should have experience of using SAP
You should be able to commit to this assignment for 6-12 months
