To evaluate and support key strategic financial initiatives as driven by business functions, ensuring that financial projects are structured, well managed and meet the needs of the organisation.
Dealing with Financial Evaluation Models and sensitivity analysis for strategic initiatives will be paramount, as well completing project plans and providing regular updates and reports, project tracking and forecasting models.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-
• Undertake regular, ad hoc project work as required and produce 'scenario plans' in response to changing internal and/or external circumstances and to continuously identify areas for improvement and potential cost/benefit. Present these for consideration by the Senior Management team
• Ensure that cost benefit analyses are undertaken for all Plans prior to Plan sign off by the Senior Team
• Undertake business reviews to identify area for improvement and potential cost/ benefit
• Provide regular project updates to senior management, to include performance reviews against targets of both individual projects and strategic consolidated programmes
• Manage cross departmental projects from a financial perspective to ensure delivery in accordance with each project plan
• Design and deliver financial evaluation models
• Focus on costs, process improvements and/or efficiency to contribute to the profitability of the business
• Develop self in order to maximise personal contribution to the job
