The global valuation group of this leading bulge bracket investment bank drives independent pricing and the creation of strategy for managing risk portfolios across product areas including equities, credit, commodities and fixed income.
Working with Front Office and senior business heads you will be responsible for strategy and execution of valuation policy.Core accountabilities include:
* Determining valuation agendawith aprimary emphasis on credit and interest rate products working with Front Office, Risk and Business Management teams across the bank
* Overseeing the review of valuation models to increase accuracy and respond to variance causedbyfluctuating market conditions
* Creating pricing models and leading analysis of pricing
*Leading thesustained development of control and risk structures to provide a coherentvision of the bank's risk positions

Who we're looking for
Recent highly relevant experience in a valuation risk or market risk position, or perhaps in a product control role is essential. Excellent understanding of valuation techniques and credit and interest rate products is required. A highly evolved analytical and quantitative approach supported by proven leadership skills and the ability to work in a visible position managing senior relationships is required. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in Japanese is advantageous though not essential.
