The global valuation group of this leading bulge bracket investment bank drives independent pricing and the creation of strategy for managing risk portfolios across product areas including equities, credit, commodities and fixed income.
Working with Front Office and senior business heads you willhave overarching responsibility fordriving strategy and execution of valuation policy for rates and fixed income and hybrids business lines across Asia. Core accountabilities include:
* Overseeing price verification and valuation across Rates/ Fixed Income Exotics and Hybrids areas
* Overseeing the delivery of daily P&L and riskorientated analysis of portfolio positions
* Managing the relationship with Front Office and senior management
* Running projects to refine risk strategy and development of valuation models and methodologies
* Reviewing significant transactions

Who we're looking for
Recent highly relevant and substantial experience in a valuation risk or market risk position, or perhaps in a product control role is essential. The successful applicant will have a proven leadership track record and enjoy highly visible positioning within a management structure. The ability to anticipate potential business issues and address them proactively is critical. Excellent understanding of valuation techniques and credit and interest rate products is required. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in Japanese and/or Mandarinis advantageous though not essential.
