Due to business success and company growth, my client s looking to strengthen it's Sourcing capabilities. With this in mind a Senior Sourcing Manager, with extensive experience in Hardware, Software and Telecoms Procurement.
The role itself will manage strategies to ensure development of mutually beneficial supplier relationships with the aim of delivering competitiveness, responsiveness and impeccable service to my client and its Customers. Working proactively with Suppliers, Capability Units and Project Managers etc, you will provide consultancy to major bids within the Business Units. To help deliver this you will be responsible for creating and managing a team and / or a virtual team.
Who we're looking for
As the successful candidate, you will have sound exposure to the IT Sourcing market, with hands on knowledge of tender processes and experience of high spend / high risk suppliers at corporate or Business Unit level.
Other Competencies:
• Advanced Procurement Skills (specifically negotiation, tendering and contracting) and commercial experience.
• Building relationships at all levels in Supplier base and internally.
• Typically degree and preferably CIPS qualified.
• Communication Skills (specifically business writing and presentation).
