Credit Analyst - Emerging Markets Fixed Income

Based in London the Credit Analyst - Emerging Markets Fixed Income will be responsible forassisting theSenior Portfolio Manager of emerging market corporate bonds in evaluating emerging market corporate bonds for EM portfolios. Specifically you will be responsible for;
• Perform in-depth credit analysis of emerging market corporate bond credits with the goal of recommending credits for investment purposes both on an absolute and relative return basis.
• Make periodic due diligence visits to emerging market issuers and regions
• Analyze credit indentures for structural sub-ordination, creditor protection offered by covenant packages
• Work closely with sector analysts and portfolio managers in the high yield and high grade groups
• Co-ordinate with the emerging markets sovereign analyst group.
• Put together credit reports for the investment committee and risk management department where needed.
• Provide client service to internal and external clients. Such service to include periodic phone calls, reports, and memos on specific EM issuers, sectors and regions where necessary.

Who we're looking for
To be successful in the role of Credit Analyst - Emerging Markets Fixed Income you will have;
• Undergraduate degree required
• MBA / CFA or working toward such designation preferred
•Deep knowledgeof emerging market corporates or HY credit
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, etc
• Highly effective communication skills
