This role will lead on-site operations at this machining facility within the Peterborough / Cambridge area. As Operations Manager you will lead Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics and Quality inspection of machined components supplied into the Aerospaceand Energy sectors. Processes on site include Machining, Milling, welding and fabricating.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have worked within ideally a heavy manufacturing environment. You will have driven change within the business which will have generated improvements in efficiency, quality, cost and delivery.
Specific Skills include:
• Management of a manufacturing business with responsibilities for Manufacturing, Logistics and Engineering
• Motivational leadership, driving change through training, developing and empowering the workforce
• Focus on KPI measurement, ensuring visual measures on the shop-floor
