Job purpose:
To develop our use of new SAP functionality and the use of other software products, to improve the efficiency of FSSC.
To provide training and advice to SAP users in FSSC and Finance.
Key responsibility areas:
Responsible for project managing the implementation of new SAP functionality and other IT tools within the FSSC including all aspects of discovery, planning, training and support required.
Manage a team of 3 Systems Accountants including planning and supervising work, and all performance, development and training needs
Build good links with the Business Systems Team and work closely with the Finance SAP Module Owner.
They will develop a good understanding of the SAP finance system in order to provide practical technical support and training as required.
Responsible for maintaining and developing the SAP Financial Controlling environment including maintaining master data. Also, responsible for maintaining all non-SAP finance tools such as KPIs and the intranet
Who we're looking for
1. experience project managing implementations of new functionality in an integrated ERP system such as SAP or Oracle
2. experience of supporting complex use of finance systems in large organisations and finance departments
3. proven problem solving skills
4. good working knowledge of Microsoft tools
5. have a pro-active approach
6. be able to work and communicate well within diverse teams and user communities
7. experience of providing training
8. preferably has experience of SAP financials
