The role is responsible for identifying, creating, qualifying and selling new business within the assigned customer community, as well as sustaining existing business. Its focus will be on both Military and Commercial accounts, and the role holder will be responsible for managing the Cambridge office and the staff there.


Key Responsibility Areas

• This person's primary role will be to lead the sales effort for theGeospatial exploitation Products division. The focus will be on growing the Military, Government and Commercial businesses in the EMEA region.
• Manage the Cambridge office which includes sales people, sales support and customer support.
• Act as the lead marketing person for EMEA and filter back information on all marketing activities that should take place in EMEA
• Maintain existing customers and help grow the maintenance base whichis used to pay for development.
• Responsible forthe Profit & Loss of the EMEA office, includingmaking choices as to what to spend money on when looking at trade shows, advertising and work shops.
• Participates in identifying and pursuing merger and acquisition candidates.

Who we're looking for
Typical Education/Skills/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or similar field or equivalent experience. It is preferred that this person have prior military experience.

Typical Related Experience:

Substantial, related experience. Must have experience in Military Intelligence; either in Image Analysis or Geospatial area. A former operator/manager for any of the numerous ground stations would be advantageous. It is critical to have a good working knowledge and contacts at all branches of the UK military.
