As Commercial Services Manager you will be responsible for -
• estimating and securing competitive tender work for building maintenance and construction related functions in the main to Wolverhampton City Council owned stock against private contractors
• exploring new areas of third party income generation by competitive tendering, devising and formulating a tendering strategy to support business needs taking into consideration the wishes of the Board, Tenants, resources and risks
• ensuring that benchmarking, monitoring market trends and costs take place utilising information in securing competitive bids and appropriate rate of return
• ensuring that all pre-contract and procurement administration and validation takes place in readiness for post contract • monitoring, including development, negotiation and monitoring of Service Level Agreements for property related activities and out sourced contracts
• managing and monitoring both capital and revenue budget expenditure
Who we're looking for
The ideal commercial services manager must be RICS Qualified and have a proven track record in successfully managing large project budgets. An affable nature and the ability to perform in a client facing role is essential.
