E Sourcing Manager

Your role will be to deploythe use ofour clientsstrategic sourcing business process and supporting tools and systems andmake available strategic sourcing knowledge management acrossthe region. You willenable continuous improvement, best practice and ensure world class initiatives are identified and recommended to senior management.

Principal tools are Oracle Sourcing and CCMS II (Documentum)
• To ensure the Sourcing platform is available, users are trained, standing data is up to date, users are supported and defects or enhancements are logged, routed and tracked.
• To analyse, define the requirements, create business cases and implement improvements to the way in which they use Oracle eSourcing based on user feedback, reported defects and gaps identified through benchmarking.
• To analyse, define the requirements, create business cases and implement improvements to the eSourcing user support model including the training of new-joiners and the broader population of eSourcing collaborators.
• Provide expert support and advice for the business on all areas of eSourcing and contract management tools.
• Keep up to date with new innovations and developments in the field of eSourcing and contract management through a network of external contacts to support continuous improvement.

Who we're looking for
Demonstrable and valued supply chain delivery track record
• Extensive experience of working for a large organisations
• Extensive eSourcing and/or contract management data base experience4
• Track record of practical effectiveness
• Capable of strategic as well as analytical thinking
• Highly numerate
• Relationship and communication skills
• Good facilitation and presentation skills
• Self starter, driven
• Degree qualified or possessing relevant qualification
• Experience of working for an 'Engineering' organisation
• OJEU Utilities Contracts Regulations
• Microsoft office
• Negotiation experience
