Head of Tax & Treasury

Reports to Group FD . Responsibilities:
• Treasury:
o Implement treasury strategy
o Key contact for banks and other financial institutions
o Treasury policies
o Capital structure, including buy-back programme
o Core funding, and managing bank group
o Tax efficient asset financing, including lease v buy decisions, acquisition finance.
o Ancillary business, eg. bonding and LC's
o Improve cash management within the group
o Fuel hedging
o Other derivatives, such as interest rate swaps, as appropriate
• Tax:
o Responsible for corporation tax planning, forecasting and compliance (working with advisers)
Who we're looking for
Qualified ACA (additional ACT qualifications an advantage)Needs external funding experience and City credibility
Ideal stepping stone for Treasurer or #2in FTSE company looking to broaden role.Experience in a decentralised, empowered, listed PLC environment helpful. Need tax exposure from a treasury perspective at least.
