You will be responsible for external reporting of Group and UK subsidiary results and play an important role in central consolidation adjustments. Working closely with the Group Financial Accountant your remit will include:
• planning the year end process
• producing the group year end financial statements
• managing the relationship with external auditors
This role will cover local GAAP statutory accounts and IFRS accounts discrepancies, production of UK stat accounts andcalculation of central consolidation adjustments for group accounts. Other ad-hoc work includes:
• support to the Group Reporting Systems Accountant in developing and maintaining the Hyperion consolidation system whilst increasing your knowledge to enable uploading of packs and issuing of reports
• support for the Group Management Accountant to process monthly management accounts an budgets at busier periods

Who we're looking for
Our client is seeking a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA), most likely a graduate with a practice background. You will be technically proficient in IFRS and UK GAAP, been involved in the production of statutory accountsand possess advanced Excel skills.
