With annual revenues approaching £30m, their commercial activities are well established and provide a range of highly valued services designed to convert public sector aspirations and policy to reality and results. To support their ambitious growth plans, CIPFA are seeking to expand their Business Development Team to build a position of involvement and influence across the public sector.

Who we're looking for
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
• Educated to degree level or equivalent

EXPERIENCE
• Extensive experience of devising/implementing business development strategies
• Significant experience of large-scale commercial lead generation
• Experience of producing sales proposals and tender documents
• Experience of providing innovative solutions to organisational business issues
• Proven high volume lead generation skills for B2B and public sector
• Proven experience of presenting at a senior level
• Excellent persuasive, influencing and negotiation skills in a sales situation
• Commercial lead generating techniques including sales promotion
• Ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with current and prospective clients

What's on offer
up to £55,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus + benefits
