Manage projects using the established Internet and New Media project management process.
Allocate internal and external resource to web projects.
Ensure that any work undertaken is consistent with the rest of the website or Internet and New Media functionality at all levels, for example, technical infrastructure, data protection policy or web design.
Ensure project is delivered on budget, identifying cost savings where possible.
Ensure that risk management is carried out on all projects.
Ensure overall project quality.
Ensure that any legal issues concerning the development of content or infrastructure have been investigated and resolved.
Liaise with the web development team, other technical staff or suppliers, to establish the correct technical requirements and solution.
Who we're looking for
Excellent knowledge and understanding of website creation and maintenance including - business requirements gathering, design, copy, navigation, content hierarchy, standard types of web functionality and associated technical implications.
Prince 2 qualified.
Gift aid processes and requirements.
Extensive knowledge of the internet and using internet technologies.
Understanding of the charity landscape and the web environment.
Knowledge of key issues in the web market so as to be able to advise colleagues on best practice.
Significant experience of project managing the delivery of online transactional websites for internal or external clients
Excellent website development project management skills.
Business and financial awareness, with a focus on accountability and cost-effectiveness.
