An excellent opportunity to join a highly successful and rapidly growing Energy Consulting firm based in London as a Consulting Manager. The focus of this business consulting group is oil and gas - typical services they offer are the development of business unit strategies, performance improvement and transformation enablement. The company operates globally with a total team of 160 consultants. There are 30 consultants based in London and this role will be based within that team.
As Consulting Manager you will spend 70-80% of your time on client engagements leading teams of between 4-5. This will include work in the following areas:
• business impact analysis
• analysis, design and reengineering of business processes
• transformation assessment & strategy
• business transformation road map
• technology assessments and strategy
You will also be responsible for a small volume of business development and there will be a training and coaching element so you produce a highly motivated, well performing team. There will be a requirement to travel with this position.
Who we're looking for
Successful candidates will:
•have previous management consultancy experience preferably from the Big 4 or a major strategy house.
• have previous working knowledge of the oil & gas industry
• have managed a team of consultants before
• have an operational understanding of projects including financial acumen
• be able to analyse qualitative and quantitative information
• be comfortable operating in different working environments and cultures, building networks at all levels within a business
• be an excellent communicator with fluent written and spoken English
Skills in other languages would be a bonus.
