Reporting to the Group Finance Director the Group Financial Controller's key responsibilities for this newly created role will include:

• Management and preparation of Group financial accounts in accordance with IRFS accounting and audit requirements in line with Group timetables, policies and standards.

• Providing leadership and development of a small Group accounts team to provide financial strength across the Group.

• Contribute to the strategic planning process identifying the financial implications of agreed strategies and ensuring the integrity of Group results.

• Driving and challenging performance across all international divisions.

• Taking responsibility for developing all board packs and Group annual report.

• Supporting the Group Finance Director on key commercial projects.

Who we're looking for
Prospective candidates will be ACA qualified with a strong technical background gained ideally in a FTSE listed business. Experience of applying financial rigour in accordance with current finance standards and best practice will be a pre requisite. In addition you will be adept at leading and developing a small team whilst maintaining a proactive approach developing across all international divisions. Of equal importance is a strong commercial awareness that is matched with exceptional interpersonal skills.
