Social Media Specialist

• Work in partnership with group technology and external agencies, bringing strong marketing and communications expertise (with always the end user in mind) to create a new Intranet.
• Manage and create content to drive traffic to the Intranet - ensure content on group homepage is timely, relevant and compelling. This may include conducting written or video interviews with employees across all levels and geographies.
• Promote and drive social media programs around the organisation. This includes podcast, webcasts, user-generated videos, blogs, wikis, and social networking.
• Create and implement tools & best practices, using external inputs where relevant.
• Engage and communicate within the network to build and maintain energy and commitment for the new Intranet and social media activities.
• Measure, track and analyze the impact of the Intranet/social media strategies and tactics using agreed upon tracking metrics.

Who we're looking for
• Experience creating and managing intranets for large international organisations (experience with SharePoint a plus)
• Extremely strong project management skills with the ability to operate effectively across geographic boundaries and cultures, teams and several different stakeholders
• Extensive Social media experience. Someone who blogs or understands blogging and participates in social networks and online communities, has an understanding of web TV, podcasting, wikis and social bookmarking sites
• Ability to translate knowledge into recommendations for teams and functions
