This highly successful, growing organisation are looking to expand their Tax Team by bringing in a VAT Manager to cover this critical area of indirect taxes.
Working within the Group Tax team, the opportunity offers a varied role where you will be responsible for the following:
Management and submission of the Group's statutory returns (VAT, Intrastat)
Review and submission of Stamp Duty Land Tax forms
Dealing will all indirect tax queries from returns to production of Voluntary disclosures
Assisting Senior Tax Managers with corporate projects as required.
Providing an advisory service to internal departments across the group which could be lease/property renewals, HMRC point of contact etc
Responsible for a team of two

Who we're looking for
Ideally a VAT Specialist though qualified accountants/tax specialist will be considered
Good verbal & numerical skills
Ability to multi task
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Self-motivated
