This is a newly created Head of HR position responsible for developing existing HR policy and driving in new strategic interventions to benefit the client group in the South. This role will play an integral part of the organisation and will manage the HR offering across the 5 offices in the South where this Professional services business operates. Although the role will be primarily based in Worthing, there is expected travel on a weekly basis to the sites in the surrounding area. Key accountabilities include;
• To manage the provision of Human Resource services to all offices
• To identify, develop and promote best practice in personnel, training and other staff related matters throughout the Firm and to advise on HR issues to offices
• To design, develop and deliver an appropriate training programme to offices
• To manage the Firm's graduate recruitment programme
• Develop an HR strategy for the Firm
• Develop and implement a recruitment strategy for the Firm
• Develop a career development, manpower and succession plan
• Propose to the management committee a reward strategy
• Manage the annual salary review process
• Identify strategic HR projects and work with others to implement these throughout the offices

Who we're looking for
Our client are looking for a current HR Manager / Head of HR with experience of working in a highly corporate environment, preferably from a Professional/Financial services background. The ideal candidate will have broad generalist experience but ideally with an operational and strategic blend. Of key importance, is having advanced communication and influencing skills with exposure to getting buy in from tough client groups.
