Within your role you will be responsible for idea generation, marketing and sales of the sites digital media inventory to airlines.
You will have the potential to grow to be the driving force behind my client's efforts to access airline marketing budgets with a proactive and creative approach to media sales to match drive and ambition for a successful commercial career.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Idea Creation - studying site usage and industry trends, linking these and creating commercial opportunities to take to airlines and their media agencies.
• Lead Generation - identification of opportunities from networking, research, phone and email based prospecting.
• Proposal Submission - creation and presentation of PowerPoint and Word based sales material to support the opportunity clearly identifying the value and benefits of the opportunity.
• Closing - using a flexible range of techniques to qualify, negotiate and close opportunities
• Implementation - ensure the opportunity is executed once closed, liaising with the client and the implementation team.
Who we're looking for
• You will have prior experience of digital media sales,preferably within the travel sector.
• Proven experience of successfully developing and executing tactical sales opportunities to clients.
• Be committed to developing a commercial career in the online travel sector.
• A passionate drive to get things done and to create opportunities.
• A commitment to a structured approach to lead generation and sales with experience of using a CRM system to facilitate this.
• Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position a proposition to an advertiser.
• Proven personal and professional success.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills along with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Flexibility to travel as required.
• A commitment to self improvement and professional learning.
