To lead a team with the objective of creating market leading proposals and bids for a range of opportunities; providing innovative and leading edge business solutions that maximise every opportunity within the social housing,repair& maintenance market.
To assess bids and the resources required to deliver market leading proposals.
To understand the requirements, objectives and key drivers of clients.
Define the structure of the bid and project manage all bid activities, resources and risks.
Develop bids tailored to the requirements of each business opportunity and ensure the bid is delivered to the client on time and to the highest standard.
Act as a central point of contact for strategic and tactical advice for all bids, setting up a monitoring system to encourage feedback.
Prepare client presentations
To proof read proposals to ensure accuracy
Build and maintain a comprehensive library of standard collaterals
Liaise with operational teams to ensure all proposals are tailored and deliverable
Liaise with other Regional Bid / Business Development Teams to share best practice
Liaise with external service providers, such as printers, designers and the like to ensure all deadlines are met
Adhere to all company procedures and policies
Observe and maintain H&S procedures at all times.
Who we're looking for
Knowledge of leading a successful team
Proven success in abusiness developmentenvironment
Knowledge of document management and production
Project Management knowledge
Social housing knowledge an advantage but not essential
Facilities Management knowledge an advantage but not essential

Our client are a leading contractor in the repair and maintenance market across the north and south region. Providing planned capital programmes, reactive maintenance, estate management and gas servicing for the social housing sector. Also providing gas installation and maintenance, electrical, fire and water services to clients in the private sector.
