The role includes:
• Develop an communications plan that builds on existing work by the communications coordinators and links to the overall communications strategy
• Formulate integrated communications plans for specific projects, translating business issues into communication solutions
• Execute communication activities to support programmes, and manage print and production processes, webcasts and intranet communications
• Provide strategic input and support for the CIOs and their leadership teams to deliver consistent story lines
• Lead and manage a team of five communications professionals
• Make connections across projects so that end-user communication is joined up
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be a Communications professional who enjoys working on a strategic and tactical basis. Ideally with a degree or its equivalent, preferably in English, journalism or a communications discipline, you'll have excellent written and spoken English language skills.
You should have substantial working knowledge of managing internal communications, with experience of developing and implementing communication plans and using print-based, online, audio-visual and face-to-face channels.
Strong influencing, interpersonal and team-leading skills are essential, and we'll expect you to have the ability to develop strong relationships with key clients. You'll also have experience of change management communications
