As Acquisitions Manager you will the ability to work from home or the head office based in Guildford. You will hold responsibility for the acquisitions, negotiations and development of properties within a specified geographical region.
Key day to day activities will include;
• Actively leading external teams of architects, planners, solicitors and quantity surveyors
• Devising and presenting new investment proposals
• Closely monitoring activity in your region, and beyond if necessary
• Regularly reporting to our Brand Executive and Investment Committees

Who we're looking for
The successful Acquisition Surveyor will have a sucessful track record in development, coupled with a strong understanding of the Retail sector. With a naturally tenacious attitude, you'll be eager to achieve greater results and will use your well-honed negotiating skills to acquire property on favourable terms. You will be able to effectively work with a range of people, be highly self-motivated and determined. You must also be capable of working independently and as part of a team and display the following attributes;
• A proven track record acquisitions for a major Retail organisation or private practice agency
• A strong knowledge of property, planning practice and property law
• Relishing the opportunity to secure a large number of deals quickly and effectively
• First-class communication skills and excellent commercial judgment
• Likely to be a chartered surveyor (MRICS) or on course to qualify
• Good sales technique
• Confidence
