The successful candidate will have a proven background in IT, Infrastructure and support. The role will involve the 1st/2nd/3rd line support of over 80 permanent members of staff. My client works in a windows environment with a small element of the team working on MAC. Whilst the successful candidate will be able to provide a support function they will be also be contributing ideas and providing direction to the IT aspects of the business projects and operations.
The role will include:
• Server administration
• Relationship management between IT, the users and a contracted consultancy assistance.
• 1st/2nd/3rd Line Support
Who we're looking for
Candidates should have background managing small teams and working knowledge of:
• MS Windows XP/Vista
• Microsoft Exchange
• LAN/WAN Networking Technologies
• MS Office 2003
• Cisco switching and routing
• VM Ware (desirable)
