As Planning Manager, you will be managing the planning team and ensuring the MRP Controllers have clearly defined objectives whilst developing and implementing a production plan which reflects operational capacity and customer requirements. You will also support and provide adequate input to sales and operational planning meetings whilst managing the successful implementation of the new MRP based planning system and be responsible for creating an achievable production plan which satisfies both internal and external requirements.
Who we're looking for
Degree educated in engineering related or business management subjects, you will possess a good knowledge and understanding of supply chain processes in a manufacturing environment, specifically production and material control, and the relevant techniques and systems. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to create relationships both internally, with customers and with the supply network. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office are essential, and practical SAP knowledge is preferable. You will also have a good knowledge of lean manufacturing with the ability to work to tight deadlines and be a good team player and must havea background of implementation of anMRP based production planning system.
