Reporting to the Chief Engineer Fuzes you will have a broad spectrum of responsibilities to enable the provision of fuze engineering capability within the group. You will be required to manage trials from trial planning stage through to completion and the presentation of data. You will prepare test specifications for product acceptance and assist in the delivery of technical data to support design approval. You will also be required to work closely with Engineers within munitions and advise external suppliers on technical data.
Who we're looking for
The Ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering and or Electro-mechanical systems.
• You will ideally have a good understanding of project management and an ability to use associated tools and techniques.
• An understanding or experience of working in a hazardous environments & handling and transportation of hazardous materials would be advantageous.
•A good knowledge of engineering life cycles, product testing and acceptance would be advantageous.
• Must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills.
