Acorns Children's Hospice Trust offers care to life-limited children and adolescents and support to families across the diverse community throughout the West Midlands and Three Counties. As part of the expansion of our Marketing and Communications Team the successful applicant will be responsible for developing and producing marketing materials in-line with Acorns strategy and brand.

MAIN DUTIES:

1. Development of marketing materials for specific areas of Acorns including events, legacies, in memoriam giving, corporate fundraising and celebration funds.

2. In collaboration with other departments, ensure that the marketing materials are produced in line with their product and income plans.

3. In collaboration with other departments, contribute to writing marketing plans for specific areas.

4. Ensure that marketing materials are delivered on time and within budget.

5. Ensure that all marketing materials are produced in line with Acorns brand guidelines.

6. Deliver all work accurately ensuring materials are fully edited, proof read and signed off by relevant product and business owners.

7. Ensure all marketing materials meet legal, compliance and regulatory requirements.

8. Actively support good communication practices within your work and promote and maintain good teamwork.

Who we're looking for
You should be educated to degree level or equivalent with excellent planning and implementation skills. From experience in a similar role you will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Being numerate you should be financially aware and have a good understanding of budgets and budget processes, and be committed to building good internal and external relationships with both staff and supporters alike. You will either hold or be working towards a CIM or IoF qualification.
