The successful candidate isrequired to hit the ground running. This role is very hands on with high volume of media enquiries to be dealt with coherently. This is an operational role, so no strategic background is required.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate:
• Has a demonstrable background of working in a press office
• Understands what is required in a good press release - excellent copy writing skills
• Graduate level
• Has ability to monitor media
• Would have the presence to attend departmental meetings to advise with authority on media issues, and recognise potential stories
• Is able to deal with people at all levels in the organisation
• You will ultimately be a team player, tenacious and able to handle a complex environment with multiple activity.
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO START ASAP!!!!
