Production Manager

Reporting to the Head of Operations, your responsibility will be for the smooth running and co-ordination of the production unit, making effective use of all resources to ensure performance is stabilized, improved & maintained to ensure customer requirements are met. You will also be committed to the development of quality,health, safety and environmental. You will also be responsible for the development of training programmes and the deliverance of process improvements through the implementation of leans tools and techniques, always striving for increased profitability and overhead reduction.

Who we're looking for
You will be an experienced Production Manager educated to a minimum HND in an engineering discipline, with a proven track record record of managing a world class assembly operation.A strong communicator with excellent people management skills, being able to engage from shop floor through to Senior Management. You will also have a sound engineering background and be able to adopt a hands on approach.
You will also have experience of the following:
• Continuous Improvement
• Health and Safety
• Decision making
• Problem solving
• MRP and Production scheduling
