Health & Safety Officer

Reporting to the General Manager you will have full site responsibility for all Health and Safety and environmental issues. You will ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and be tasked with achieving an overall reduction in accidents via turnaround of poorly-performing business areas and processes. You will drive the site towards achieving world class HSE levels and introduce major management and employee H & S training programmes.
Who we're looking for
A proactive individual you will have a demonstrable background in driving H & S programmes within a manufacturing environment and hold a NEBOSH qualification. A background of looking into grants and funding, energy savings, environmental issues and having dealt with the H&S executive would prove to be an advantage.
