As Head of Landlord Services and a member of the Housing Directorate Management Team you will contribute to the joint management of the housing service,andthe drive towards excellence in five years time andcontinuous improvement thereafter.

You willmanage the landlord service to 12,000 tenants and 500 leaseholders in council housing in the Midlands. This covers all aspects of management and maintenance of homes and to engage positively with tenants and service users, including the development and implementation of new governance arrangements.
You will work with neighbourhood management and regeneration services to promote community cohesion between different communities, tenures and household characteristics.
Central to your role will be the delivery ofperformance improvements in the key aspects of landlord services hitting top quartile targets in voids management, rent collection and repairs (on time, to customer satisfaction and value for money).

Who we're looking for
The Ideal Head of Landlord Services will possess:
• A track record of proven leadership and management in a broadly comparable working environment.
• Experience of working at senior level within a locally focussed public service delivery organisation.
• A proven track recordin the management of social housing.
• Membership within the Chartered Institute of Housing (MCIH) or equivalent in a housing related discipline.
• Sound financial management capability, experienced in both capital and revenue budgeting for public housing services.
• Experience of managing change programmes and working proactively to make organisational change happen.
