Managing Consultant

Performance Improvement Consulting

UK

Permanent ⁄ £65000 - £85000

You will work closely with the principal Consultant as part of their management team, actively
developing and sharing best practice and getting involved in product and proposition development -
within teams and across the company. Four key drivers for the role are;
1) Managing The Project
2) Managing Change
3) Training/Coaching Managers
4) Fostering relationships with key players within the customer organisation

Who we're looking for
As Managing Consultant within this Performance Improvement Consulting group in the UK you will have:
Substantial experience as a manufacturing/operations improvement consultant with
Blue Chip companies
Expertise in leading or facilitating a large, successful CI/Lean programme
Expertise in specific WCM/Lean tools and techniques and developing and delivering
bespoke solutions
A track record in project management
Training and/or coaching expertise
A real desire to make sustainable changes
A degree and potentially a further qualification
You will be:
Probably frustrated at being in a large firm and keen to take more control of your
own destiny
Realistic about the constraints and challenges, but excited by the dynamic of
working in a smaller consultancy
Tenacious, self motivated and with an entrepreneurial streak
A team player with a 'hands on' practical bias
Self motivated, results driven and resourceful
An engaging team leader
Impactful and influential at shop floor and senior team level
Well organised
Able to balance the conceptual picture with the nuts and bolts delivery
Commercially aware

You may also have:
Track record in business development
Cross site and cross cultural experience<BR>Languages
You can be:
Based anywhere but flexible to travel
