In this unique role you will use your marketing, compliance, regulatory and/or product development skills within this fast growing and successful Life Assurance company. The key to your role will be liaising with the regulators and financial authorities in nine key European countries, ensuring that the product that you are launching is legal, compliant, correctly priced and marketed in the best possible way. Your role will involve the production of marketing and other literature in support of the sales/distribution of product across Europe.
The Product Manager - Europe will be responsible for the management, development and distribution of the range of life assurance products and services offered in our client's European (non UK and IOM) markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing new products, promotions, marketing materials and other services.
This is a complicated and challenging role partly because of the variety in regulation across Europe. This role requires an understanding of which products can be sold in which locations and which are the best routes to market in each jurisdiction. You will liaise with the legal team to assess the appropriate marketing and product approach for each location and will play a major role in the continued growth of the European (non UK and IOM) operation.
Who we're looking for
Applications are invited from individuals with Life Assurance experience who are interested in relocating to the Isle of Man (IOM). Life Assurance industry experience is a definite pre-requisite for this role.
It is possible that you have compliance or regulatory experience or you could be a professional marketeer with product development experience.
The ability to speak a number of European languages (ideally German, Italian and/or Dutch)will be a huge advantage.
You must be willing to relocate for this role - a generous relocation package will be provided.
