This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned VAT specialist to work autonomously for a superior client portfolio with the UK's largest Indirect Tax group, where you can develop your skill set and establish your own network as you gain exposure across a mix of tax service lines. The work is varied and involves advising on all of the main indirect taxes including VAT, Customs Duties, Insurance Premium Tax, and increasingly, Environmental Taxes.
Main responsibilities include:
• Leading business development initiatives on target accounts, contributing to winning new work
• Lead existing client engagements, reporting direct to a partner
• Developing less experienced staff with hands on advice and support
• Contributing to enhancement of relationships with targets and clients
• Identifying cross service line opportunities
• Contributing to existing team spirit.

Who we're looking for
We are looking for a ATT/CTA qualified individual with prior VAT experience gained within professional services or HMRC. You should have excellent client facing, relationship building and business development skills, coupled with commercial awareness. The ability to be proactive, identify opportunities and take early responsibility is essential.
