Sales Manager

Aluminium Curtain Walls & Envelope Systems

Reporting directly to the Senior Management based in their global head office in Portugal you will be responsible for the sales and marketing of Martifer's Aluminium construction products across the UK. Within this standalone role you will have full responsibility from the identification of projects, contract management and completion of the sale. You will manage the UK P&L and fundamentally be responsible for the strategic direction of the business. Key responsibilities will include:
• Establishing contacts with clients, main contractors, project managers, cost consultants, architects and suppliers
• Conduct sales presentations involved in targeted projects, collect information about their needs, propose technical solutions and recommendations using Martifer's products and highlighting their benefits in the aim to get products specified and/or selected.
• Contract Management and business development
• Client management and CRM
• Coordinating with Portuguese Commercial Directors/Board
• Tenders and proposals coordination
• Gradually recruit, train and manage the future members of the sales team as business develops.

Who we're looking for
You will ideally come from a Technical glass, aluminium curtain walling or facades background and have demonstrable sales experience in the UK market. You will have had experience of dealing with contractors and architects and ideally be based in the South East. You must have the ability to take the business to the next level, so if you have had experience of looking after P&L or a standalone function this would be beneficial.

These projects include airports, hotels, offices, schools and shopping centres. They are looking to further expand internationally by appointing a National Sales Manager for the UK market.
