A leadership role at the heart of the Colgate Professional business, this role is all about defining the strategy, focus and direction for this strategically important business unit. Leading a large team with diverse responsibilities, you will need to be motivating, provide complete clarity on what is expected of them and empower them to deliver against your requirements. Working towards a 100% dentist recommendation of the Colgate range, your team will bridge the gap between the consumer and professional markets and act as the on-the-ground brand building sales team. You will ensure excellent training and personal development are at the heart of everything you do, work closely with the Senior Product Manager and Sales Manager to create best-in-class activation and product collateral and promote the business unit both internally and externally.
Who we're looking for
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Sales
- Extensive people management experience, including the management of large sales teams
- Strong commercial focus & experience of managing P&Ls
- Strategic approach mixed with an ability to make things happen
- Good influencing skills
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- An assertive & can do attitude
- A science degree
