My client, a leading top-tier International Legal Private Practice is seeking a Non-Contentious IP Solicitor.
The North-West team based out of Manchester, is looking for an additional lawyer due to increased workloads. As one of the North-West's premier teams, you will gain expertise in some specialist areas, including undertaking an education IP secondment and gaining experience within life sciences.
You will be required to carry out your own work as directed by and under the supervision of other senior members of the team. This will comprise of drafting and advisory work, together with some DD work. You will be required to build a good working rapport with an education client whilst on secondment.

Who we're looking for
• You will be a Non-Contentious IP Solicitor currently - ideally 1-5pqe*
• You will have gained a strong background in Legal Private Practice.
• You will be committed to Manchester.
• You will be analytical, methodical and have the ability to deliver simple presentations to clients. An interest in science is an advantage, as is any education work/life science experience.
• a competent drafter with the ability to advise on basic trade mark and patent issues and familiarity in dealing with CDAs. You will be an effective communicator at all levels, be able to build relationships with clients and able to work as part of a cross office team
